Jeffrey S. Hallett, M.D. takes pride in offering his patients the professional, state-of-the-art medical care they need and the personalized attention that they deserve.  Dr. Hallett specializes in the comprehensive care of adults and children suffering from allergies, asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis and other respiratory problems.

 

Appointment Hours

  • Dr. Hallett is available to see patients by appointment Monday thru Friday.
  • Established patients can usually be seen the same day.  Dr. Hallett usually spends 20-45 minutes with Established Patients
  • New patients can usually be seen within 48 to 72 hours.  Dr. Hallett usually spends 30 minutes to an hour with New Patients.
  • Appointments may be scheduled by calling our office  at (512) 244-3422.
  • If you are not able to keep a scheduled appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible. This courtesy makes it possible for us to offer the appointment time to someone else.
  • Regular Office Hours are:

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday:   8:30 AM - 12:30 PM and 1:45 PM - 5:30 PM

Wednesday & Friday:                     8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

 

Allergy Injections

  • No appointment is necessary for patients receiving allergy injections.  Allergy Injections are given on a walk-in basis during regularly scheduled hours Monday thru Thursday. Since allergy injections can only be given when Dr. Hallett is in the office, please check our Allergy Injection Calendar to find out the schedule for the current month.

 

After Hours Emergencies

  • For established patients, Dr. Hallett, can be reached by calling our primary number at (512) 244-3422.  Press "0" and you will be connected with a Medical Exchange operator who can page Dr. Hallett. If there is no answer at our main number, you may call the Medical Exchange directly at (512) 458-1121.
  • If a life threatening emergency occurs, patients should immediately go to the nearest hospital or call EMS (911).

 

Prescription Refills

  • Prescription refills are handled during regular office hours. For routine prescription refills, it is fastest to contact your pharmacy first and have them call or fax our office for authorization.  Prescription refill requests received before noon are usually completed by 6:00 PM the same day. Prescription refill requests received after noon are usually completed by 2:00 PM the next business day.
  • If you require a written prescription to mail in to your Mail Order Pharmacy, please make sure you call our office at least 48 hours in advance and we will have it ready for you to pick up.
  • An annual appointment is required with Dr. Hallett in order to extend prescriptions beyond one year.
